This is a popular system for power driving screws. The shank is a standard power driver 1/4″ hex. The selected insert bit (phillips, square, hex, torx, pozi) is inserted into the holder and an internal snap ring holds it in place. An internal magnet holds a screw onto the end of the drive bit so there is no need to hold the screw with the fingers. Saves time.
